Volleyball Recap: Andrada Polytechnic Comes Up Short

If Andrada Polytechnic was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Catalina last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mavericks lost 3-0 to the Safford Bulldogs on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mavericks of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Andrada Polytechnic's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Safford, their win bumped their record up to 14-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Andrada Polytechnic will venture away from home to face off against Tombstone at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Safford, they will take on Tanque Verde at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Hawks will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight.
