Linton-Stockton extended their postseason success on Tuesday against South Knox. They put the hurt on the Spartans with a sharp 16-5 win. The Miners might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by six runs or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Linton-Stockton and bumps their season record up to 17-11. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for South Knox, their loss dropped their record down to 7-12.

Looking ahead, Linton-Stockton will square off against West Vigo at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Miners' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Vikings have averaged an impressive 10.2 runs per game this season. South Knox does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
