Helena takes loss despite strong efforts from Amari Grant and Isabel Heintz

Recap: Helena Huskies vs. Chelsea Hornets
The Helena Huskies suffered their biggest defeat since November 21, 2023 on Wednesday. They were outmatched by Chelsea on the road and fell 58-26. Helena was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-7.
Isabel Heintz and Amari Grant certainly did their best on Wednesday to try and avoid the loss. Heintz scored eight points along with three steals, while Grant scored four points along with six rebounds.
Helena's defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 7-12. As for Chelsea, their win bumped their record up to 20-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Helena will take on Calera at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Calera is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak. As for Chelsea, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hewitt-Trussville at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Hewitt-Trussville's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four games.
