Baseball Game Preview: Shenandoah Zeps vs. Bridgeport Bulldogs

The Shenandoah Zeps will venture away from home to square off against the Bridgeport Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Shenandoah comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Last Wednesday, Shenandoah didn't have quite enough to beat Monroe Central and fell 4-2. That's two games in a row now that the Zeps have lost by exactly two runs.

Brody Brown made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Bridgeport's offense. They fell 4-0 to Shadyside on Tuesday. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Bridgeport saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Roman Sauvageot, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Shenandoah's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Bridgeport, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
