Basketball Game Preview: Eisenhower Eagles vs. Benjamin Davis Falcons

It'll be Battle of the Birds when the Eisenhower Eagles face off against the Benjamin Davis Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday... Eisenhower will be strutting in after a victory while Benjamin Davis will be coming in after a loss.

Eisenhower took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They had just enough and edged Westfield out 55-53. The win was all the more spectacular given the Eagles' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 915th, while the Mustangs are ranked 319th).

Meanwhile, Benjamin Davis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 60-54 heartbreaker at the hands of MacArthur.

Eisenhower's victory bumped their record up to 6-14. As for Benjamin Davis, their loss dropped their record down to 7-16.

Eisenhower might still be hurting after the 67-45 defeat they got from Benjamin Davis in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. Can Eisenhower avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
