Thunder Ridge lost to Lakeside back in August, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Longhorns sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Knights. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Longhorns have posted since September 30th.

Thunder Ridge had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-18, 25-21.

Thunder Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 7-17. As for Lakeside, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-15.

Coincidentally, Thunder Ridge and Lakeside will both be playing Osborne the next time they take the court. The Knights will host the Bulldogs at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Longhorns will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
