Claire Brugger Game Report: vs Twin River

On Tuesday Claire Brugger dropped a double-double on 11 points and 13 rebounds, good enough to also set a new career-high in assists in the process. As if that's not impressive enough, the contest was her third in a row with 11 or more boards. On the season, she has averaged 7.5 points, 3.5 steals, and 9.2 boards.

Brugger and McCool Junction will take on Shelby-Rising City in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Mustangs got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Huskies, probably because Brugger had a solid game then too: she went 5 of 8 on her way to 10 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
