East Syracuse-Minoa had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the eight-run drubbing they dealt Cazenovia on Monday. The Spartans put the hurt on the Lakers with a sharp 12-4 win. The Spartans not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since May 1, 2024.

East Syracuse-Minoa now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Cazenovia, the defeat was their first at home , dropping their record down to 3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Syracuse-Minoa will challenge Fulton at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Cazenovia, they will take on Jordan-Elbridge at 5:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
