ORANGE, Calif. -
Villa Park (Calif.) extended its winning streak to five games with a 43-0 victory over El Modena (Orange, Calif.) on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a
Dylan Osborne touchdown pass to
Josh Ruiz in the first quarter, the Spartans were up 29-0 at the half.
Villa Park grew its lead to 36 points entering the fourth quarter. VP's lone score in the quarter came on a Osborne touchdown pass to
Louis Vecchio.
Osborne stood out for the Spartans in the win. The senior quarterback threw three touchdowns. He has now scored four touchdowns on the season.
Coming into the game Villa Park had allowed 23.7 points per game this year.
VP also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 47-13.
