West Anchorage is a perfect 10-0 against Bartlett since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Eagles will host the Golden Bears at 2:00 p.m. West Anchorage will be strutting in after a victory while Bartlett will be coming in after a defeat.

West Anchorage is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Alaska's top teams: Bettye Davis East Anchorage, who was ranked 21st at the time (West Anchorage was ranked 11th). The Eagles never let the Thunderbirds get on the board and left with a 6-0 win on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what West Anchorage needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Meanwhile, Bartlett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against Chugiak, falling 8-0.

West Anchorage is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-6-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those four games. As for Bartlett, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11-1.

Everything went West Anchorage's way against Bartlett when the teams last played last Wednesday, as West Anchorage made off with a 5-0 win. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Golden Bears have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
