Victory Christian is a perfect 10-0 against Winterboro since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Lions will face off against the Bulldogs at 10:00 a.m. Winterboro took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Victory Christian, who comes in off a win.

Victory Christian took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They walked away with a 17-13 win over Wellborn. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Victory Christian got a massive performance out of Kelton Strickland, who went 3-for-5 with eight RBI, two runs, and two doubles. That's the most doubles Strickland has posted since back in February. Jack Crow was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing four bases while going 3-for-4.

Meanwhile, Winterboro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 15-5 to Wadley.

William Shepard made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Javari Mckenzie also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

The win got Victory Christian back to even at 9-9-1. As for Winterboro, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.

Monday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Victory Christian has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .460. However, it's not like Winterboro struggles in that department as they've averaged .468. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.

Victory Christian took their victory against Winterboro when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 27-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
