Desert Edge lost against Canyon View back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Scorpions lost 12-1 to the Jaguars. The Scorpions' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Desert Edge saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zeus Durazo, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Desert Edge's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 4-4. As for Canyon View, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

Canyon View didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 6-5 victory against Willow Canyon on the 2nd. Hopefully Desert Edge payed attention to the Jaguars' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
