Volleyball Recap: University Takes a Loss + How To Watch

The home team had come away the winner the last four times University and Mt. Spokane had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Titans came up short against the Wildcats on Thursday, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Titans of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

University was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-14, 25-13.

University's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Mt. Spokane, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. University will challenge rival Mead at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Mt. Spokane is set to square off against their familiar foe Central Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
