Baseball Recap: Greene County Comes Up Short

Greene County lost to Perry last Wednesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rams lost 11-5 to the Bluejays. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Greene County's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Perry, their victory bumped their record up to 6-8.

Coming up, Greene County will be playing at home against Prairie City-Monroe at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Mustangs' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Rams' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Perry, they will challenge Roland-Story at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Norsemen will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Bluejays surely won't give up without a fight.
