Georgetown Day waltzed into their contest on Friday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They blew past the School Without Walls Penguins 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Mighty Hoppers also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Georgetown Day was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-12, 25-7.

Georgetown Day was led to victory by Charlie Haft and Ella Higday. Haft had four aces and three digs, while Higday had two aces and two assists. That's the most aces Haft has posted since back in September.

They weren't the only good servers: Georgetown Day was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 11 aces in eight consecutive matches.

Georgetown Day's victory bumped their record up to 13-1. As for School Without Walls, their loss dropped their record down to 21-6.

Coming up, Georgetown Day will host Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for School Without Walls, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against McKinley Tech on the 18th.
