Football Recap: Tappan Zee Takes a Loss

Tappan Zee was the 36-0 winner over Peekskill when they last played one another back in November of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Dutchmen and the Red Devils were almost perfectly matched up on Friday, but the Dutchmen suffered a 22-21 loss. The Dutchmen have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tappan Zee now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Peekskill, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Tappan Zee is set to square off against their familiar foe Greeley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Peekskill will challenge rival Port Chester at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
