Baseball Game Preview: Union Grove Wolverines vs. Whitewater Wildcats

The Union Grove Wolverines will kick their season off against the Whitewater Wildcats on Wednesday. First pitch is scheduled at 6:00 p.m.

Whitewater is looking to give their home crowd another W after opening their season at home on Monday. They blew past Luella 12-2.

Whitewater's victory bumped their record up to 1-0.

As for Union Grove, they've got a clean slate this season. Last year, they had a stellar season and finished 22-9.

Union Grove skirted past Whitewater 10-8 in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Union Grove since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
