Basketball Game Preview: Milton-Union Bulldogs vs. Northridge Polar Bears

Milton-Union is 2-8 against Northridge since January of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Milton-Union Bulldogs will welcome the Northridge Polar Bears at 7:15 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Last Saturday, Milton-Union ended up a good deal behind Mississinawa Valley and lost 46-29. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the defeat, Milton-Union saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Levi Brumbaugh posted 11 points along with six rebounds and three steals. The dominant performance gave Brumbaugh a new career-high in boards. Titus Copp was another key player, putting up six points.

Meanwhile, Northridge unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of Hilliard Bradley by a score of 71-69. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (58), the Polar Bears still had to take the loss.

Northridge's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-4. As for Milton-Union, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-14.
