Volleyball Recap: McFarland Takes a Loss

McFarland lost against Manitowoc Lincoln on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Spartans fell just short of the Ships by a score of 2-1.

Kayla Landerud paced McFarland's offense, picking up ten kills. Landerud got some help from Alex Faust and her 11 assists.

McFarland's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Manitowoc Lincoln, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.

McFarland has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Oregon on the 30th. As for Manitowoc Lincoln, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 win against De Pere on the 30th.
