Basketball Game Recap: East Panthers vs. Burgard Bulldogs

The East Panthers were the 67-56 winner over the Burgard Bulldogs when they last played one another back in January of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. East fell 61-52 to Burgard on Thursday.

East's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Jussean Pearsall, who scored 22 points along with 5 rebounds, and Mysean Morrison who scored 16 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 blocks.

East's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Burgard, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East will square off against Riverside at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Burgard, they will head out on the road to face off against Tonawanda at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
