Softball Recap: Lawrence Takes a Loss

Lawrence lost to Haverhill back in April and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Lancers came up short against the Hillies, falling 35-2. The Lancers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Analia Marte made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one double. That double marked the first that she has hit this season. Melany BAEZ was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Lawrence's record now sits at 1-11. As for Haverhill, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-8.

Coming up, Lawrence will challenge North Andover at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Haverhill, they will take on Lowell at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
