Volleyball Recap: Tatum Hanson Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Waverly/South Shore

Warner had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Waverly/South Shore Coyotes 3-0 on Tuesday. The Monarchs haven't had any issues with the Coyotes recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Warner's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tatum Hanson, who had three digs and three aces. That's the most aces Hanson has posted since back in October. Reagan Wood was another key player, getting 13 assists and three digs.

They weren't the only good servers: Warner was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their ace total in four consecutive matchups.

Warner's record is now 29-6. As for Waverly/South Shore, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 10-19 record.

Warner wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Hitchcock-Tulare on the 6th. Waverly/South Shore does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
