Soccer Recap: Cary Comes Up Short

Cary was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 4-1 to the Felton Grove Galaxy. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Felton Grove this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-0 on April 8th.

Cary's goal came courtesy of Claire Vetter, which was the first she's scored this season.

Cary's loss dropped their record down to 3-12-1. As for Felton Grove, they moved to 6-8-2 with that victory, which also ended their three-match losing streak.

Cary wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Middle Creek on the 29th. As for Felton Grove, they have also already played their next contest, a 9-0 loss against Holly Springs on the 29th.
