Soccer Recap: Liberty Creek Takes a Loss

After flying high against Greenbrier last Tuesday, Liberty Creek came back down to earth. The Liberty Creek Wolves came up short against the Independence Academy Lions on Thursday, falling 4-1. Wolves were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 3-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Chayse Manfred, who's now up to three this season.

Liberty Creek's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Independence Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Liberty Creek wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 4-0 win against Cheatham County Central on the 14th. As for Independence Academy, they have also already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Valor College Prep on the 18th.
