Football Game Preview: NSU University Sharks vs. St. Brendan Sabres + Official Tickets

The NSU University Sharks will head out to square off against the St. Brendan Sabres at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. NSU University will be strutting in after a win while St. Brendan will be coming in after a defeat.

NSU University's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Oxbridge Academy 47-0. The matchup marked the Sharks' most dominant victory of the season.

Jayden Miller was his usual excellent self, throwing for 228 yards and three touchdowns on only 16 passes. What's more, he racked up 151 passer rating, the most he's had since back in November of 2024.

NSU University's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB eight times. The heavy lifting was done by Tristan Ayala and Darrell Tiger, who racked up 5.5 sacks between them. Ayala also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with 11.

Meanwhile, St. Brendan unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak last Friday. They lost 36-14 to Key West.

Although St. Brendan took the loss, they still got scores from Geovanni Tobon and Jakeem Ferguson.

NSU University is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 30.0 points over those games. As for St. Brendan, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.
