Volleyball Recap: Locust Grove's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Locust Grove had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Hampton Hornets by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in August.

Locust Grove's victory bumped their record up to 12-4-1. As for Hampton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Locust Grove will square off against Academy for Classical Education at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hampton, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Stockbridge at 5:30 p.m. on the 22nd.
