Basketball Game Preview: Pennsauken Tech vs. Doane Academy

Pennsauken Tech are taking a road trip to square off against Doane Academy at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with seven losses in a row, Pennsauken Tech turned things around against Moorestown Friends on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Foxes by a score of 51-40.

Pennsauken Tech's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but James Stout led the charge by shooting 53% from the field en route to 18 points. The dominant performance also gave Stout a new career-high in blocks (two). Another player making a difference was Tyrone Baker, who went 5-for-10 to rack up 16 points.

Pennsauken Tech was working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. They are 2-1 when they've passed the ball that well.

Meanwhile, Doane Academy was able to grind out a solid win over Delran on Wednesday, taking the game 67-58.

Doane Academy's victory bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Pennsauken Tech, the win was their first on the road, bumping their record up to 2-7.

Pennsauken Tech skirted past Doane Academy 66-64 in their previous meeting back in January of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for Pennsauken Tech since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
