Basketball Recap: East Comes Up Short

East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 62-50 to the Ellet Orangemen. If the Dragons were looking for revenge after losing 78-66 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

East's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Ellet, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season.

East has already played their next contest, a 73-38 loss against Archbishop Hoban on the 11th. As for Ellet, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 59-40 victory against Cuyahoga Falls on the 11th.
