Northwestern's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to St. Croix Falls on Tuesday. The Tigers were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over the Saints. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by seven runs or more this season.

Northwestern pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for St. Croix Falls, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northwestern will square off against Hayward at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Croix Falls, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Ashland at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Saints are facing the Oredockers at the right time seeing as the Oredockers are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
