While Fishers's victory against Carmel wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Tigers narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Greyhounds 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Tigers have posted against the Greyhounds since May 7, 2018.

Adrianne Cook was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Cate Summerfiel, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

Fishers is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. As for Carmel, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fishers will venture away from home to face off against Franklin Central at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Flashes have averaged an impressive 8 runs per game this season. As for Carmel, they will head out on the road to square off against Harrison at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
