Basketball Recap: Triangle Math & Science Takes a Loss

Triangle Math & Science lost against Woods Charter back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Triangle Math & Science Tigers lost 59-35 to the Woods Charter Wolves. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bhuvanesh Senthil had a dynamite game for Woods Charter, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 15 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Levi Haygood, who posted 11 points along with seven boards and three steals.

Triangle Math & Science's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Woods Charter, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Triangle Math & Science will face off against Ascend Leadership at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Woods Charter, they will square off against Clover Garden School at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
