Baseball Game Preview: Stringer Red Devils vs. Clarkdale Bulldogs

Stringer and Clarkdale are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2019, but likely not for long. The Red Devils will look to defend their home field on Monday against the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Stringer has struggled recently with three losses in a row, while Clarkdale will arrive with five straight victories.

Stringer came up short against Taylorsville on Friday, falling 17-5.

Meanwhile, Clarkdale put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's fourth consecutive shutout on Friday. They never let Scott Central get on the board and left with a 12-0 win. Considering the Bulldogs have won seven matchups by more than seven runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Clarkdale's victory bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Stringer, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-16.
