Staunton River hit Fleming with a six-run sixth inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Colonels came up short against the Golden Eagles, falling 12-2. The Colonels just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Fleming's loss dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Staunton River, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-10.
