After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Patapsco, Woodlawn was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Pikesville Panthers a 7-0 shutout. The high-scoring effort was just what Woodlawn needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Woodlawn's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Pikesville, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, Woodlawn will square off against Owings Mills at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pikesville, they will face off against Western Tech & Environmental Science at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
