Basketball Recap: Elkmont Find Success

Elkmont lost to Varsity Opponent on Friday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Elkmont Red Devils pulled ahead with a 44-43 photo finish over Varsity Opponent.

Elkmont can attribute much of their success to Savannah Williams, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 boards. Another player making a difference was Mckenzie Doner, who posted 13 points and three steals.

Elkmont smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 12 consecutive matches.

Elkmont's win bumped their record up to 4-13.
