Our Lady of Tepeyac suffers eighth straight loss at home

The Our Lady of Tepeyac Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their 11th straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 75-4 loss at the hands of Ida Crown Jewish Academy. Our Lady of Tepeyac has not had much luck with the Aces recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Leading Ida Crown Jewish Academy to victory were Daria Lennon and Ilana Schwartz. Lennon scored 18 points, while Schwartz scored 21 points. Schwartz is crushing the point category: she's posted at least 16 every time she's taken the court this season.

Our Lady of Tepeyac dropped their record down to 1-11 with that loss, which was their eighth straight at home. As for Ida Crown Jewish Academy, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 13-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Our Lady of Tepeyac and the Patriots will face off at 5:00 p.m. on February 1st without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Chicago Washington's defense has only allowed 29.8 points per game this season, so the Tigers' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Ida Crown Jewish Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Raiders at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday. North Shore Country Day will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings (they are ranked 598th, while the Aces are ranked 269th).
