TORRANCE, Calif. -
Palos Verdes Peninsula (Rolling Hills Estates, Calif.) kept up a steady attack all game long to beat
South (Torrance, Calif.), 31-7, on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown in the first quarter, the Panthers were up 17-0 at the half.
Palos Verdes Peninsula expanded its lead to 24 points entering the fourth quarter. PVP's lone score in the quarter came on a touchdown pass by
Ian Escutia to
Jason Burr.
South's lone touchdown came on a 6-yard run by
Gabe Zuniga in the fourth quarter.
The win was a nice bounce back for the Rolling Hills Estates school, which lost to Lawndale last week, 32-24.
