Volleyball Recap: Purdue Polytechnic's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Purdue Polytechnic had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They blew past the Indianapolis Washington Continentals 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Techies, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Purdue Polytechnic took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-6, 25-9.

Camara Walker-Brown paced Purdue Polytechnic's offense, picking up nine kills. Walker-Brown got some help from Kaida Lovett and her 14 assists. Alyssa Hickman controlled things from the service line, finishing with 15 aces.

Purdue Polytechnic now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Indianapolis Washington, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Coming up, Purdue Polytechnic will venture away from home to challenge Tindley at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Indianapolis Washington, they will welcome Indianapolis Shortridge at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Continentals are facing the Blue Devils at the right time seeing as the Blue Devils are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
