Softball Recap: Cumberland Valley Makes It Ten in a Row on the Road

Cumberland Valley barely beat Mechanicsburg the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Eagles never let the Wildcats get on the board and left with a 6-0 win on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won five in a row.

Cumberland Valley pushed their record up to 5-0 with the win, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.1 runs over those games. As for Mechanicsburg, they moved to 5-2 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
