Recap: Bloom-Carroll Bulldogs vs. Berkshire Badgers
The Bloom-Carroll Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 26 points or more this season. They breezed by Berkshire at home to the tune of 56-19. With Bloom-Carroll ahead 33-9 at the half, the match was all but over already.
It was another big night for Emily Bratton, who went 6 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 31 points and 5 assists. Those 31 points set a new season-high mark for her. Tessa Brooks was another key contributor, scoring six points along with three steals.
Bloom-Carroll's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Berkshire, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bloom-Carroll will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Athens at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Berkshire's road trip will continue as they head out to face Bristol at 11:30 a.m. on December 30th.
