Softball Recap: Hardin County Comes Up Short

Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Tuesday. Hardin County came up short against Lexington, falling 10-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Lexington this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-5 back in March.

Hardin County's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Lexington, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-10 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Hardin County is set to challenge their familiar foe Chester County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Lexington will square off against rival Jackson South Side at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
