Meanwhile, Mohave Accelerated was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Thursday as they fell 71-67 to North Valley Christian Academy. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Monday (63), the Patriots still had to take the loss.

Northland Prep Academy is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 13-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.3 points per game. As for Mohave Accelerated, they dropped their record down to 12-8 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
