Softball Recap: Warren Warriors vs. East Chambers Buccaneers
Warren was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They wound up on the wrong side of a rough 17-1 walloping at the hands of the East Chambers Buccaneers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Warren of the 14-12 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture on March 8th.
For East Chambers' part, Marley Morgan was a standout: she went 4-for-4 with four RBI, two doubles, and a run. The team also got some help courtesy of Zoe Selby, who went 3-for-4 with five RBI and a double.
Warren's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for East Chambers, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-11.
