Basketball Game Preview: Commack Cougars vs. Huntington Blue Devils

The Commack Cougars will challenge the Huntington Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

On Monday, Commack earned a 69-61 victory over Newfield.

Meanwhile, Huntington came up short against Jericho back in December of 2025 and fell 70-61. The Blue Devils have struggled against the Jayhawks recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Huntington's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Commack, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Everything came up roses for Commack against Huntington when the teams last played back in November of 2018, as the squad secured a 75-35 win. Will the Cougars repeat their success, or do the Blue Devils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
