Softball Recap: Morton Ranch Comes Up Short

Morton Ranch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 11-1 to the Tompkins Falcons. That's two games in a row now that the Mavericks have lost by exactly ten runs.

Magali Gallegos made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-2. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in stolen bases.

Morton Ranch's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Tompkins, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Looking ahead, Morton Ranch will take on Mayde Creek at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Tompkins, they will welcome Cinco Ranch at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
