Basketball Game Preview: Dartmouth Indians vs. Somerset Berkley Regional Raiders

The Dartmouth Indians will square off against the Somerset Berkley Regional Raiders at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Dartmouth is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They were the clear victor by a 76-55 margin over Bishop Stang on Monday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Indians.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Somerset Berkley Regional, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They secured a 66-62 W over Bourne on Friday.

Somerset Berkley Regional's win came from a few key players Dartmouth will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Brendan Mcdonald, who posted 24 points and eight rebounds. That's the most points he has posted since back in January of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Maxwell Finlaw, who put up 13 points.

Somerset Berkley Regional pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Dartmouth, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Things could have been worse for Dartmouth, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 71-54 loss to Somerset Berkley Regional in their previous meeting back in January of 2024.
