Recap: Prince of Peace Eagles vs. All Saints Episcopal Trojans

The Prince of Peace Eagles came tearing into Tuesday's game with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 54-42 win over All Saints Episcopal. Given Prince of Peace's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 337th, while All Saints Episcopal is ranked 1059th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Several Trojans players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Manny Mizer, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Mizer has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Caz Franks, who scored 12 points.

Prince of Peace has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-9 record this season. As for All Saints Episcopal, they dropped their record down to 10-16 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Prince of Peace will square off against Dallas Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for All Saints Episcopal, they will head out on the road to face off against Covenant at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
