Football Recap: Tantasqua Regional Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Tantasqua Regional fell victim to Doherty Memorial and their airtight defense on Friday. They were beaten by the Highlanders 31-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Warriors have suffered since November 15, 2024.

Ethan Mietla was nothing short of spectacular for Doherty Memorial: he rushed for 97 yards and one touchdown on only 13 carries.

Tantasqua Regional has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season. As for Doherty Memorial, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-4.

Looking ahead, after both having extra time off, Tantasqua Regional and Shepherd Hill Regional will shake off the rust and duke it out at 10:00 a.m. on the 27th. The Warriors will need to watch out since the Rams have now posted at least 31 points in their last four games. As for Doherty Memorial, they will take on Burncoat at 10:00 a.m. on the 27th.
