Softball Recap: West Shamokin Wolves vs. Conemaugh Valley Blue Jays
West Shamokin can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent match on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 13-1 margin over the Conemaugh Valley Blue Jays. The high-scoring effort was just what West Shamokin needed considering they were shutout in their previous game.
Leah Mondi made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and only two hits over five innings pitched. Mondi has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in three consecutive pitching appearances.
