Football Game Preview: Jefferson Democrats vs. Cleveland Warriors

Jefferson is a perfect 6-0 against Cleveland since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Democrats are taking a road trip to face off against the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Jefferson and 14 for Cleveland dating back to last season.

On Thursday, Jefferson ended up a good deal behind Roosevelt and lost 28-14.

Meanwhile, Cleveland played a tough matchup on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 48-6 loss at the hands of Franklin. The Warriors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-6.

Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Cleveland, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Everything came up roses for Jefferson against Cleveland in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 55-8 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Democrats since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
